Kathleen Petitjean has been painting, sculpting, and drawing since she first took a crayon to her bedroom ceiling at the age of three. In addition to the crayons, clay, and ink, Kathleen worked closely with children with special needs as a school-based Occupational Therapist for nearly thirty years.
As an OT, Kathleen used therapy dogs to help teach children with autism interactional skills.  Her book, The ABC of Mannerly Me merges Kathleen’s experiences in the classroom with her journey to embrace her God-given writing and illustrating talents.  Kathleen describes The ABC of Mannerly Me “an everybody’s book disguised as a children’s book.”
